The paper "Masters Degree in Business Administration" is a great example of an application/admission essay on business. Since my youth, my parents have encouraged me to pursue educational goals. I come from a middle family. My father was an accountant for the ministry of labor and my mother was a school teacher. They both helped me a lot during my lifetime. My parents taught me the value of hard work, perseverance, and dedication. Once I graduated from high school I began to study a bachelor’s degree in business administration from King Saud University.

The time I spend at this university was a great experience for me. I matured as a person and learned the value of ethics and professionalism. I graduated with a major in accounting with honors. Upon completion of my bachelor’s degree, I gained the skills, capabilities, and knowledge to obtain a good job in the marketplace. I began working as an auditor for Ernest & Young.  My experience working at Ernest & Young has been tremendous. Ernest & Young is one of the largest accounting firms in the world.

I work there as an external auditor. This job gave me the opportunity to work on various large companies in my country, and that’s when I was attracted more to the business world. Being able to work for a multinational corporation provided me with the unique opportunity of auditing a lot of companies from many industries. I’ve had the chance to meet a lot of influential leaders and executive managers. This has helped increase the reach of my network of contacts. Networking is important for businesspeople.

I want to obtain a master’s in business administration from the University of San Diego because this educational institution is highly regarded as one of the best in the state of California. The University of San Diego is composed of 29,324 students. I want to become a part of an academic community that can help me improve my knowledge to be able to meet tough managerial challenges. I want to obtain a master’s degree in business administration from the University of San Diego because the work environment of the 21st century has become more competitive than ever.

I have seen first hand at Earnest & Young that the employees with the best academic credentials get the best jobs at the company. Earning an MBA will help me move up the corporate ladder and reach the managerial level in a shorter amount of time. It will also provide me with the skills and capabilities to be able to make tough managerial decisions such as downsizing, optimization of the labor force, and cost-volume-profit decisions. An MBA degree will also improve my analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and research capabilities.

Another important attribute of completing an MBA is that I will be better prepared to deal with the business challenges associated with globalization. Competition in the job marketplace has become more intense for professionals because many companies are increasing their pool of applicants by recruiting internationally. I am confident that pursuing an MBA is the best investment I can make for my future.
