Specific information related to the major It is every one’s dream to work for the Abu Dhabi Aviation Co. This is due to its well organized organization board and better services it provides to its employees. It has made several achievements and won several awards due to their cooperate performance annually (Abu Dhabi Aviation, 2010). In its financial reports, the company has recorded a rise in profit which has increased tremendously over the years. Being an aircraft engineer with great financial skills, this company needs me in their work force for I am competent and highly skilled for the job. For this reasons, I would prefer working for this company and would happily sign a contract with them. After signing a contract with the company, I would prefer going for training in order to increase my skills especially in the financial part to be able to perform audits for the annual reports. Interview with employee During the Ramadhan season I organized an interview with Robert Carpenter a Captain at Abu Dhabi Aviation. He has 25 years in the aviation experience in the role of Flight Ops/Ground Ops Manager, Line pilot and Line Trainer (Abu Dhabi Aviation, 2010). The interview focused on what it is like to work in the organization and how a typical day would look like for an employee in the organization. In response, the interviewee said that, this Abu Dhabi Aviation is better organization to work with. The reason being, though the country is dominated by Islam religion, the emirate of Abu Dhabi is more liberal and for this reason other faiths are humbly welcomed and practiced (Abu Dhabi Aviation, 2010). An employee would enjoy several beneficiaries upon joining the organization for instance health insurance and health in general where the Aviation Company would provide a medical insurance card as soon as someone joins them. Robert also said that, though working for the organization is pleasant; there are several cons that would discourage someone from working for them. Arabic is the official and national language of the United Arab Emirate. Though English is considered a business language, everything official, for instance legal documentations are verified and attested in Arabic. This is hectic, according to Robert because you need to visit the embassy for all this conversion of the documents in order to work with the company (Abu Dhabi Aviation, 2010). A typical day in the aviation company is quiet hectic, according to Robert for one has to work for 12 hours starting from 7am to 7pm. However one is exposed to world class tools and equipment (Indeed, 2015). One is exposed to co-workers of different nationalities with different cultural beliefs, languages and religions. Summary Looking into the aspects of this organization, I would prefer working for them. Considering that I am interested in adventure for new places and working in different environments. Interaction with my co-workers would not be a problem since my communication skills are at stake and therefore, my good working relations will translate into better working environment for everyone. There are several skills that I should acquire like working with different power tools and coping up with different environment in order to work with the organization. The company has lots of pros than the cons. The pros are good medical insurance coverage, free transport and accommodation, free housing and shuttle bus and so on (Indeed, 2015). The disadvantages are it takes long years for one to be employed permanently and long working hours. References Abu Dhabi Aviation. (2010).
