? Personal Goal The process of self exploration, identification of skills, and motives and how they can be implemented in building careers is an important step in everyone’s life. Personal goal determines what a person wants in life. There are numerous people who do not take time to figure out their desires in life. People who have a personal goal will be able to remain focused on their destination and not on the situations that can occur in between. A personal goal is like a magnet that pulls you ahead in life to achieve those desires. They are a great way to grant your life a meaning and boost your activities to enhance all the things that surround you  (Johnson, 65). After a clear understanding of all these aspects, it becomes easier to set career goals and make aware decisions regarding personal and professional developments. Through acquiring a business management degree, my career interest is to select and attain an International Institute of Business Analyst (IIBA) certification to further excel my career. I will work as a project manager to gain practical exposure. After few years of working in the same field, I will achieve a Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) certification along with Six Sigma (Lunenburg, 95-100). With the advent of globalization, the human resource has observed a significant trend in many organizations. Being a project manager, I would envision myself being assigned in different countries to carry out various projects. It is not astounding that related to the emerging interest in an implementation of project management, I would be working in diversified projects with much more challenging jobs in comparison to today’s market. The effectiveness of globalization lies in the persistence and certain delivery of work and projects. After a basic planning has been elaborated and directed, functional aspects including managing implementation, projects and collaboration between offshore and on-site groups attain higher importance. Managers continue to expand experimental learning’s, specifically when it comes to interpretation planning into practical programs. Implementation of the Body of Knowledge will be supplemented by an approval of globalization, which is also my goal to achieve. One year from now, I would be acquiring specialized project management knowledge in a global context and within five years of time, I would be excelling with practical implementation of what I have learned and practice those theories in the international scenario. After 10 years, I aim to be in the top managerial positions working with diversified backgrounds which will continue till I get the destined status in my field of operations (Morisano and Hirsh, 255–264). Globalization generally relates to various dynamics that can impact career or personal goal development process. Since I am looking forward to excel in the project management field, it will be drastically altered through globalization trends. Globalization has directed to multi-faceted, multi-cultured project groups that works across boundaries, across time zones, and in multiple dialects. It is now quite familiar to witness project groups utilizing internet-based tools for communication, instead of conventional group calls. Through globalization, I would be facing currency fluctuations all around the world that could raise the cost of material, data transfer between different nations can be extensively complex, and generating backup plans should any of the staff face difficulties in other states is becoming more crucial (Johnson, 65). Globalization is a conceptual phenomenon. It does not relate to a rigid thing. It is a societal procedure. Hence the conceptual framework of globalization is not easy to determine. To make precise, it is necessary to elaborate the entire theory in which our idea about globalization is integrated. Conceptualization requires drawing theories from reality. There are numerous dynamics of globalization that creates direct influence on personal and professional lives. For instance, cultural, social, economical or governmental factors are highly impacted by globalization which in turns impact our lives greatly. Our perceived conceptual framework about globalization thus highlights all these major factors which compel us to take certain steps in order to comprehend the change and become able to sustain the pressure in the changing global scenario (Lunenburg, 95-100). These dynamics play an important role in altering our behaviors, values, and decisions taken for diversified aspects of life. Nowadays, globalization definitely represents a huge phenomenon that is altering today’s values. Its impact is the most evident in the economic and social aspects. The interaction patterns have been altered drastically and became more viable and accessible to everyone. Similarly, the decisions and actions that we take for various issues of life, have also been changed tremendously. Gone are the days when people didn’t have any idea about the world’s market. Now it has converged the diversified nations to know and develop personal and professional relations with each other. Globalization has changed the way people used to think and act. Almost every sphere of our lives has been influenced by the term globalization . (Morisano and Hirsh, 255–264). Although, it is not possible to predict the impact of globalization on diverse facets of our lives within few weeks or years, still we can at least predict that if the globalization trends continue to flourish across borders with the same pace, we will soon be witnessing many new opportunities to make our lives better. Many industries involved in the production of goods and services will create innovation which would impact old products, thereby creating new opportunities towards enhanced competition and quality. However, there is always a dark side of everything, globalization too can cause some unwanted circumstances for the people in the future for instance, globalization encourages consumerism which will continue to grow and cause more severe problems within society (Johnson, 65). Nevertheless, globalization had made our lives extremely interconnected. Our economic and political boundaries have intermingled which has changed the modes of interaction that takes place between different nations. We don't only trade products and finance each other, but also do business with jobs and concepts to operate in international markets. Moreover, beside these big changes, individuals are also getting impacts from this convergence. People can influence matters of art and culture. The way they carry out their social activities, entertainment, and music are all getting influenced. The web based social interactions have provided everyone with an excess of sharing views and concepts instantly with the world. These activities will be carried out further in the next five years. People in developing nations can get an education through increasing opportunities of learning and web-based applications (Lunenburg, 95-100). Our actions or decisions today should be in collaboration with the increasing trend of globalization. It opens the door to performing business on an international scale. In prospect, businesses have lots of options and opportunities to expand their functions. This means that we need to prepare ourselves with the changing global environment and growing competition. We need to concentrate more on building professional competencies in order to excel with increasing challenges that the entire world is facing. Adopting diversified fields of work and keeping ourselves equipped with international knowledge, will support us in successful collaboration with the dynamics of globalization. Moreover, we need to agree upon the perception that accepting change for good and becoming aware about the global culture can actually help you excel better than before. Since, globalization has become more evident and a certain fact that has been changing and will continue to alter lives drastically. That is why we can take certain decisions now so that we can effectively manage that change to gain benefits from it (Morisano and Hirsh, 255–264).
