Extract of sample "Monkey Behavior in Conflict Resolution"

My family was on vacation in Guinea, which is an African country. We settled in Conakry, Guinea's wild, musical and colourful capital. We toured the country's rainforest, where I came across the Macaca fascicular, a monkey species in the phylum Chordata. I was attracted by their colour and how they organized themselves in social groups of about 20 females with their offspring and one or more male. They were very interested in how they solved their social conflicts where the subordinate individual lost to the highest-ranking individual in the social group. After the match, the aggressor scratched itself several times more than before the competition, and the crossing rate decreased after the conflict resolution. The monkeys then demonstrated affinitive interactions between the former opponents compared to a third party. This showed the importance of solving conflicts in the family issues instead of leaving them unattended.

We played with the monkeys and gave them bananas as food. This interaction influenced my family's perception towards the monkey. The monkeys also changed our family's diet during the vacation. The locals were taking the Macaca fascicular as food. The diet was also found in many restaurants menu near the rainy forest. My family tried the menu, and we found it to be lovely. The diet was then included in my family's diet for the rest of our stay in guinea. The interaction with the monkeys influenced my family's choice of holiday destinations once we returned home. To have a clue on various species of monkeys found in different parts of the world and how they impact the life of the locals, my family decided that their next holiday destination would be to a place habituated by different species of monkeys apart from Macaca fascicularis.
