The plants were exposed to similar conditions that are required for photosynthesis apart from the light wavelengths hence the test. At their peak absorbance, blue light gave the highest rate of photosynthesis.
Green light is found at the middle of the light spectrum therefore it does not take part in photosynthesis rather the light is reflected by the plant upon exposure. White light having a mixture of about seven colors, was absorbed and used up in photosynthesis. The expected results differed from the statistical results probably due to the filters which did not allow sufficient amount of light to be absorbed for the plant photosynthetic functions. In conclusion, different light wavelengths result to difference in photosynthetic ...Download file to see next pagesRead More

Effects of Green and Blue Light on the Rate of Photosynthesis
Photosynthesis is the process through which green plants, algae, and cyanobacteria convert the sun’s energy into chemical bond energy of organic molecules that it consumes as food. This paper covers two experiments on photosynthesis; the first one investigates whether a positive rate of net photosynthesis depends on light levels.

Report on photosynthesis lab
Our results indicate that apparent photosynthetic rate increases with temperature. We discuss the possible reasons for the observed pattern and discuss the implications that the relation may have for plant growth and productivity. Among several environmental variables, temperature has been known to strongly influence photosynthetic rate of plants (Blackman, 1905).

The Impact of Light Wavelength to Photosynthesis
With the assumption that the rate of photosynthesis as manifested by CO2 consumption would be inversely related to the received light wavelength, drops in CO2 recorded and data calculated. Green wavelength having the lowest rate of photosynthesis was the only data adhering to what we had predicted.

Since, during inspiration it slows down prior resuming to the normal beating. The fluctuations differ drastically depending on the breathing alterations per minute, which is the key exemplification of this report. Heart rate of an individual or any animal is directly comparative to the breathing.
