Inside the museum is replete with European art.  The most dominant number of paintings are the work of the French masters.  The works of legendary masters can be found there such as the work of Rembrandt, Monet, Degas, and Rodin.     Claude Monet’s iconic work Waterlilies is also a part of the collection.  Other legendary work includes The Age of Bronze, by Auguste Rodin, in 1875, Trotting Horse by Edgar Degas, in 1881, The Kiss, by Auguste Rodin, in 1884, The Grand Canal, by Claude Monet, in 1908.   The museum also has a wealth of collections of impressionist and post-impressionist artwork such as the work of Renoir, Cezanne, and Seurat.  Legendary modernist painters' work such as the iconic works of Picasso and Braque can also be found in the Legion of Honor Museum. The museum has one of the most collections of old and recent masters that an art enthusiast will surely enjoy.    Read More
