In the picture, the most typical elements of Grudge are depicted. The common checkered flannel shirt was generally oversize with toned-down color imprints. The shirt is worn un-tucked owing to its woolen nature. The shirt is mostly unbuttoned but layered with a t-shirt. Long-sleeved shirts could be folded to potentially realize the grudge look. In essence, grudge fashion is documented as a look that depicts one as financially impoverished (Wisegeek, 2006). The checks on the shirt were unusually larger and the fabric is somewhat worn-out and faded a characteristic that was also expressed in the pants. The color of the trouser is also by design muted with edges that are frayed and had to be loose as well.

Combined with the shirt, the final look is messy with several layers. In addition, there is the aspect of nil bright colours as grudge fashion dwelled majorly on dark colours (Bon, 2000) such as the black tucked sweat-top and the oversize grey un-tucked shirt. Brown is also an aspect of the style as portrayed by the belt and the handbag. About hairstyle, as the lady is shown, grudge fashion hairstyle is limp and flaccid. The hair is mostly long and usually let loose consequently looking unkempt. Hair can be unevenly dyed or bleached and grown out to look as if it has not been washed for a while.
