 ‘Men of horror’The movie ‘Men of horror’ revolves around a man known as Carl Brashear, his life history and impediments he had to face to over come in his dream life. The movie portrays the heroic deeds of Carl Brashear in his world of radicalization. It is a world of racism that Carl Brashear has to overcome and excel in life. His inspiration of wanting to emerge as a master diver comes from one heroic among the divers known as Billy Sunday. This is a man as depicted from the movie, whose life later came to a leaf turn (Ebert 1).

Carl Brashear abandons his career as a sharecropper and thrives to achieve his dream in the United States Navy. This paper discusses in length about Carl Brashear’s struggles to attain his goal. Although Carl Brashear attains a chance at the navy school, in his New York Times article, Scot proves how education in a racism world does not favor him. His instructor, Billy Sunday, fails him and he ultimately opts to help his parents in the farm. He never despairs in his dream but hopes of success I future.

He remains focus in attains his dream position as a master diver. He faces demotion in work due to the success he offers Carl Brashear and ultimately ends up drinking and living a wreck less life. In conclusion, although life is full of vicissitudes, an individual has to persist and have hope for the future. Persistence and determination in life is what gives a person the heart and strength to move forward in life. In order to succeed in life, an individual should set a goal and focus on achieving it no matter the consequences or hardships to face.

Racial discrimination as a factor that deprives an individual the opportunity of achieving a desired goal should be banned in the society.
