The Effective Teacher by Harry Wong Movie Analysis: The Effective Teacher by Harry Wong The movie is all about a teacher d Christina shoemaker. The movie maker uses this character to depict some crucial teaching traits that are expected of a teacher. The movie begins when she is on her way to class on a seventh period concert choir lesson. While on her way, she is stopped by her colleague, and they indulge in a conversation that lasts for about eight minutes into the seventh period class. As she moves into the class, she fears the worst.

So say, she is not sure what awaits her in the class headed of her. Nonetheless, she gets into the class and finds the concert choir already in progress and she inquiries from them what they were doing, they say that they decided to continue even without her. After some times, she manages to control the class, and she creates an effective and smooth learning environment. At a glance, the video tries to depict what constitutes to effective teaching. Therefore, the first thing expected to achieve this is effective control of students; that is, they should be ready to cooperate by completing the previous assignment (Wong & Wong, 2008).

This is only achievable if the there is a weekly or a schedule that is availed to them for reference or as a guideline. Moreover, a daily schedule that is availed to them through the class notice board that spells the daily teaching (Wong & Wong, 2008). Notably, teacher should deploy certain procedure of handling the class rather students in a class situation. That is, students should only speak on person. Therefore, the teacher is expected to maintain some order while she or he is class (Wong & Wong, 2008).

Nonetheless, the students should be allowed to get some drinking water, or sharpen their pencils, among other necessities. This video, therefore, is trying to show that an individual on discharging his or her professional duties should not be too strict to the clients but should allow cordial interactions. In this way, both parties will achieve their goals and objectives effectively (Wong & Wong, 2008). Reference Wong H, Wong R. Video: The Effective Teacher. Retrieved from: http://video.uakron.
