Short Essay Response The video clip shows the interest of men and women in body art. Today, there are a number of men and women, who want to create some tattoos on their bodies in order to inspire other people. If we talk about the popularity of body art in the United States of America, we can say that nearly 20 percent of the total population of the United States likes to have tattoos on their bodies. Body art is not a new concept; rather it has been a part of the history for centuries. People are becoming more and more socialized to accept body art not only in the United States but also in other western and European countries.

I think that body art is still a subculture of the United States. The reason is that the people who like to wear tattoos just represent 20 percent of the total U.S. population according to some studies. Celebrities, athletes, and modern people are more drawn towards body art as compared to common people. Although body art is becoming popular day by day, but it will take some time to become a major part of the U.S. culture. Yes, body art is likely to become common in the United States but it will take some time.

Common people are not drawn towards body art as much as they should be to make it a common aspect of the culture. Body art still represents a subculture of the United States. Some negative aspects related to body art, such as, infection and piercing come in its way to become one of the main parts of the U.S. culture.Works CitedNot required for essay responses.
