Plot The Godfather is a legendary film featuring an Italian American family engaging in criminal business. It features the late 1940s with major stars Vito and Michael. Vito Corleone is the leader of an organized crime dealing with the sale of alcohol and hard drugs. Al Pacino is the last-born son of Corleone; who chose the army instead of engaging with the family business. He is a return soldier from World War II and comes back home as a war hero. Al Pacino comes back home just in time to catch Connie’s (his sister) wedding.

Michael arrives home with girlfriend Diane Keaton (Kay) who later becomes his wife. Kay discovers the nature of the family business for the first time in this visitation (The Godfather-the Coppola Restoration et al 1). Michael survives gunshots by rival drug barons. A rival group had rejected political impunity for the Corleones and wanted to assassinate Vito (Corleones’ father). Michael convinces his brothers that he be the one to take revenge. He kills a corrupt police officer and a drug mogul and seeks asylum in Sicily when more gang violence erupts from home.

Michael returned home and married Kay. Meanwhile, his father recovered and reconciled with his rivals realizing that there were other stronger gangs also engaging in the narcotics feuds. Eventually, Michael accepts to succeed his father in the unlawful business. He transforms the business to a new phase of opulence and promises his wife to clean it.
