The organization officially started its business operation in the year 2001. Originally the organization was established through the partnership of several major airlines. Now-a-days, the organization has its business presence in several developed and developing countries across the world. Most importantly, the organization ensures cheap and economic priced tickets to the travelers. Corporate Officers Orbitz Worldwide generally follows effective corporate culture in its business operation process. Effective corporate leadership has ensured positive business growth rate of Orbitz Worldwide. Barney Harford is the CEO, President and Director of Orbitz Worldwide Inc. Mike Randolfi is the newly appointed CFO of Orbitz Worldwide. Chris Orton is the COO of Orbitz Worldwide Inc. Scott E. Forbes is the Chairman of Orbitz Worldwide Inc. These are the major powerful corporate officers of the Orbitz Worldwide Inc. Employees Employees can be considered as the real assets of each and every organization. Therefore, it is highly important for the management of each and every organization to consider the effectiveness of significant employee management strategy. Orbitz Worldwide Inc. is one of the prestigious organizations within the global travel industry. Several fresher job seekers try to get recruited in this organization in order to attain potential career growth. However, the management of the organization effectively focuses on right talent acquisition and employee motivation in order to enhance effective business operation activities across the globe. Currently, the organization is seeking for appropriate talent acquisition in each and every department across all the departments within the organization across the globe. In terms of marketing department, the organization is looking for associate market manager, product analyst, senior customer analyst and senior marketing manager across the globe. In addition to this, the organization has a requirement for customer relations specialist post. Customer relationship can be considered as most important job post in a travel service organization. Therefore, the management of the organization is significantly focusing on this. Finance department can be considered as an important department for any organization. Orbitz Worldwide Inc. is also looking for knowledgeable and skilled employees for several job responsibilities in finance department (Pasiuk 170). The management of the organization is looking for revenue management analysts, junior financial systems analyst, financial analysts, and vice president of financial analysis and investor relations, senior accountant, and associate pricing analysts on global basis. Software and technological department also can be considered as an important department of the organization. The organization is looking for both fresh and experienced UI front end developer-engineer, E-commerce and Java software engineer, software development manager, senior UI engineer, user experience designer, systems administrator, user experience researcher, Sr. user experience architect and micro strategy architect. Last but not the least; the organization is also trying to recruit new employees for logistics and supply chain department in order to enhance logistics and supply chain activities (Pederson 71). The organization is looking for process designer, global senior procurement manager, manager of statistical analysis and modeling, and business analytics. These are the available jobs and job responsibilities in Orbitz worldwide Inc. across its global business operation activities. Travel Benefits for Employees Employees are the major growth drivers of an organization. Especially, the growth of travel and tourism service organizations highly depends upon the effectiveness, skills, knowledge and competencies of each and every employee. However, the management of the Orbitz Worldwide Inc. also tries to facilitate the needs and satisfaction level of each and every employee of the organization. The management of the organization tries to provide travel benefits to the working employees of the organization in order to motivate them to perform effectively. Each and every employee across the globe tries to get special facilities from their organization against their hard work and effort. However, the organization has effectively ensured the consideration of personal and professional needs of each and every employee of the organization. The management of the organization not only provides travel benefit for the employees but also tries to facilitate the security and needs of the family members of the employees. However, employees can get discounted travelling options to their homes and several places in case of meeting family obligations. These specific travelling benefits help employees to perform effectively in a financial year to attain more advantages and facilities in upcoming financial years.
