The Federalist is an English-language online magazine that covers politics, policy, culture, and religion topics. The website was founded by Ben Domenech and Sean Davis and first launched in September 2013. Domenech also works as a publisher of The Federalist.

Domenech states that the site is dedicated to the discussion of "the philosophical underpinnings of the day's debate" instead of concentrating on what he calls "the horserace or the personalities." The Federalist is usually seen as an influential source in both, conservative and libertarian circles.

The Federalist also publishes The Transom, a newsletter aimed at political insiders.

I personally haven’t seen a decent online review on the website, so if you find one, please let me know. I kinda like it.

Also, if I recall it correctly, there was a collection of The Federalist Papers, which includes around 85 articles, essays and papers, which were written under the pseudonym of ‘Publius,’ who appeared to be the co-operation of three authors, Alexander Hamilton, James Madison, and John Jay, who tried to promote the ratification of the United States Constitution. More than 70 of those essays were published at the time, in leading editions, like the  Independent Journal, the New York Packet or the Daily Advertiser. All those 70 writings were published between 1787 and 1788. The full edition of those essays was published in 1788, and got the name of ‘The Federalist: A Collection of Essays, Written in Favour of the New Constitution, as Agreed upon by the Federal Convention, September 17, 1787.” To shorten it, the collection was usually called ‘The Federalist.’
