Crime rate The data consisted of ten points and was normally distributed. The lowest reported crime rate was 1.35 and the highest reported rate was 4.15. average crime rate was 2.77 and this varied with a plus or minus 0.88. Five or more of the organizations realized a crime rate of at least 2.78 and there is a 95% confidence that the mean crime rate is between 2.22 and 3.32.
