2. A multiple regression analysis with this design would provide information about the relationships between the IBI time and each of the three predictors. The technique will result in the construction of an equation that describes the associations as a straight line on a graph. The equation will contain three slope values that represent the correlation scores between IBI time and the associated independent variables, as well as the Y-intercept found when the sum of Xs is zero. The equation will allow the Y variable to be found that is associated with all possible combinations of X value by placing those measurements into the associated spots. The equation can also be standardized using Z-values to describe the relationship in terms of standard variance deviations. This information is important to the research because it will provide measurements of the strength and direction (positive or negative) of correlations between the dependent variable and three independent ...Download file to see next pagesRead More

Description of Step-Wise Multiple Regression statistic test
Introduction Stepwise regression is a partial-automated process of constructing a model by sequentially including or eliminating variables based only on the t-statistics values of their predicted coefficients. It is specifically functional for straining through large amounts of possible independent variables and/or calibrating a model by thrusting variables in or out.

Credit Risk Analysis - Application of Logistic Regression
It is similar to a linear regression model but is suited to models where the dependent variable is dichotomous. Logistic regression coefficients can be used to estimate odds ratios for each of the independent variables in the model.” In order to run binary logistic regression model to find out the dependence of various variables on Credit Risk, the following steps are taken: 1.

Regression analysis
The multiple regression was used in the context of comparing and estimating the effects of two variables of which one is independent and the other dependent on first one. eg; The increase of population and the increase in demand of land and housing.
