Many are double standards in society about the ideal size of women. The article acknowledges that girls should be taught from an early age to love themselves despite their physical attributes. Parents should support their daughters and guide them to make the relevant choices regarding their bodies. They should encourage them to be healthy by eating healthy foods and performing healthy activities such as exercising. Girls should be taught about self-worth during their adolescent period to avoid cases of self-hatred and injuries to their bodies.

They should be molded to be beautiful people on the inside, as well as on the outside without mistreating their bodies through unethical practices. Self-esteem and appreciation can only be achieved when girls are taught about their value in society. Educating the girl-child about their importance aims at mitigating the rates of abuse and defamation that propel gender stereotyping.
