Practically, stereotypes of racial discrimination affect my life negatively in education. As an international student, I need to have a super high SAT to get into a good university in the U.S. Especially for Ivy League universities, it seems usual for the admission office that Asian students have a SAT score with 2300+. Even though we work hard on it, admission office personnel believe that Asians are good at testing naturally and are not surprised about it. But if a student from a different racial group scored a 2300 on SAT test, the admission offices tend to be more surprised of the student’s academic achievement.However, there are also many positive racial characteristics of Asians. It is widely accepted that Asian students are very hard working. When I was in high school, Asian students were always academically successful. Most Asians choose to spend more time on practicing the problems. Thus, it’s a worldwide acceptance that Asian students are very hard working in schools.

This is the macro perspective which is embedded in its sociological genesis and refers to the fact that there can be considerable similarities in people’s social attitude- a behavior that ignores the apparent differences among the individuals. On the contrary, when more focus is maintained on aggregate characteristics, then it is probable that the individual differences get masked which are important attributes of an individual.
In accordance with the existing literature, as presented below, many efforts have been made up today by politicians and academics in Britain regarding the limitation of racial discrimination. All these efforts have been treated with the same practice: the suggestions made have been taken into consideration by the legislative bodies and the members of the government; however, these suggestions have not yet been transformed to texts or arrangements, which can be, legally, enforced.
In Pennsylvania, Hispanic defendants were found to have received harshest penalty especially on cases involving drug offenses and imprisonment and these evidently are strongly linked with inconsistency in sentencing disparity (Clear, Reisig & Cole 2012).
