Nation building and Equitable Society Education and Equality It is important that every memberof the society is able to effectively play their respective part. It is due to this reason that the society can be termed as an equitable society which is significant for nation building. Education is the first parameter that is more likely to make members skilled to contribute in different institutions. This is exactly the first aspect that has been studied in the third chapter of the book under review namely Inequality in Education.

The fact remains that inequality remains a crucial in the society in terms of getting employment, undergoing mobility etc. Herein, it is rather suggested as well studied in the chapter fifth of the book entitled Gender Socialization, Sexual Orientation and Inequality that a lot of stress needs to be laid on the women empowerment and their education since they are responsible for nourishment of children (Browkow, 2013). In addition, considering discrimination as a very integral issue at hand, everyone in the society needs to make sure that more and more emphasis is being laid on making black and white children to attend school.

It has been stated in the chapter number fourth of the book entitled Race, Racism and Immigration that Acts must be passed as for legislation where people can attain equality by no difference (Polity, 2011). Overall, it is worth stating that education can play a major role in allowing national building and an equitable society without putting liberty of whites on stake while making blacks more deserving.
