The enforcers can also be able to make apt adjustments when hit by hard instances in line of duty (Hess & Cho, 2012). Through counseling, the culture of therapy is initiated for the enforcer and their families. It is important that psychological interventions, for law enforcers, are unique and not the same as the common clinical practices. The police counselors must also have expertise working with law enforcers and understand the dynamics involved.
