Sociology February Introduction and of Study The following survey has been designed to be used at a large University which provides education services to a wide range of students. Student who reside on campus as well as those who stay off campus will be surveyed along with online students. I expect to obtain a list of all students currently enrolled in the University in order to send surveys through the US mail to each student. In order to encourage students to participate and return the surveys return postage will be provided for.

It is expected that approximately 2,000 students will be surveyed, all responses being anonymous. In order to facilitate the timely return of surveys reminders will be sent out one week after the original mailing date and two months will be allowed for the return of all surveys before results are determined.Dear students,In order to better understand the spending habits of students here at the University I am conducting a survey in order to gather valuable data. By understanding the spending preferences and habits of students I will be able to offer suggestions to local retail establishments in order to allow them to better cater to the local student population.

All replies are confidential and once all surveys have been returned survey data will be published in the University newspaper.
