This means that the military has the right to take any piece of land under its wing and build a base or a military center so as to facilitate its working regimes. The natives living in that area need to realize that this base is for the betterment of not only them but also for their brother country men and women. In the long run, this base would help the country to achieve strategic and tactical edge in the case of any war, threat or strike from an enemy nation. I will definitely support the installation of a base or the construction of any such military unit in my community since it will provide me a feeling of being a part of who I am and what I can do for the betterment of my country. Support Measures My energies and enthusiasm would be best served if I am a part of the building up of this base and this would mean that my conscience would be clear at the end of the day. I have always loved my nation and the same will be manifested through my help and support in the form of building up of this base as well as asking my fellow community members to give in their best as well as facilitate and support the military regimes so that they construct the military base in the best manner possible and help the country gain the strategic edge over the other nations. Further, my support would not be for a short time period but it would focus on the long term objectives and results of the military through its construction of the base. What this means is the fact that I will keep on supporting the activities and processes that are carried out by the military base and would not mind when a supersonic aircraft would speed over my head at 3 in the night. We must understand and appreciate the efforts of the military men and women who commit themselves to the cause of the betterment of the nation and give in their very best day in day out. Help and Facilitation for the Military Base The support for the construction of this military base would also be through collection of funds and required donations which are taken from people which are based on the premise of their willingness to contribute towards a noble cause. There would be some elements within the community which will negate the building of the military base since they will have views which will totally oppose the very idea. They are more concerned for the betterment of their own lives than their country and this shortsightedness would be made quite apparent as concerns their views and ideas. Even though the military does not require funds coming in from civilian quarters since its budget is more than adequate to cater to its own needs and wants, we will make sure we remain in constant touch with whatever help and facilitation the military requires since they are coming for our own betterment and we must guarantee them help and support at all times without thinking of any returns as such. Just the mere fact that they are around us for our own betterment is confidence enough for us that we are being looked after by our military brothers and sisters at all times and we will never fall in the trap of the enemies no matter how hard the times are or how tough the circumstances turn out to be at the end. We plan to give complete support to the fact that the military has announced building up its base in our community and for that we would raise public awareness programs so that the general public of the community reach a consensus which speaks of the encouragement and support for the military men and women which would eventually mean support for our mother nation as well. We will make banners and write slogans on them in order to show support for the military and welcome them in our community as well as throw flowers on them when their motorcade passes by our streets. We will give them all out supporting facilities and amenities so that they do not feel left out especially the fact that they have decided to call our community their home. Counter Arguments Having said that, we must make efforts and attempts to change the negative thinking of certain individuals within our community who have one problem or the other with the building up of this military base within our community. We will try our best to change their thinking mindset and give them food for thought with reasoning so that they could understand for their own good what the merits and demerits of this support actually means for one and all, both within the short term perspectives as well as in the long run scenario.
