Under the same system, individuals are expected to consider the unimaginable and participate in critical dialogue and thoughtfulness. This makes individuals to become responsible and informed members of the globe. The disimagination machine is being affected in the American systems. Multiple education boards in the United States have adopted them. A telling example is the TSEB. The American textbooks are being rewritten with an aim of promoting a new nationalist version of the United States history.
According to Katherine Stewart, Jesus is being implored to invade schools with an aim of developing a Christian nationalistic approach to the history of the United States (Didi-Huberman and Lillis 13). The heartland institute is also a conservative group that has been spreading messages that deny the climate change theory. The disimagination machine is said to cause Americans to becoming increasingly skeptical about social changes that result from scientific advancement. They have been accused of promoting ignorance and intolerance among the American groups.
