However, they were not as originally made since True had to alter them to ensure comfort ability and to suit her intentions. Max notices that the altered design looked fabulous and for this reason decided to have True as the vice president for his design company, specifically the fashion house division with the youth apparel. After a short period, the fashion house division requires an assistant. Being loyal to her friends, True picks one of her friends, Lulu, who is incredibly unfocussed on matters related to fashion and design.
Although True is good at her given responsibilities, she has to face numerous challenges especially from her co-worker and rival, Amanda. Amanda main argument and disagreement with True is that she is too young to hold such a high position in the fashion house. At this time, True was only fifteen years. However, she is able to overcome these setbacks with the help of her two friends, Ryan and Lulu. Later in the program, it is evident that Amanda is jealous of True and the cause is the different ways in which Max Madigan treats both of them.
In his treatment, it is evident that Max pays more attention on matters or rather issues that were brought forward by True that he did when the same case applied to Amanda. On the contrary, true appreciates Amanda’s amazing contributions to the Fashion house and even acknowledges her as a fashion Icon. Amanda cannot understand True’s good treatment despite turning a cold shoulder on her and this prompts her to acknowledging that just like herself, True was also a fashion icon. The social theme displayed in this program is the ability of parents to understand working abilities of the young people without having to cause difficulties in their endeavors.
It is essential that parents realize the difficulties associated with rising into power in any organization. Parents watching this program should be aware that it is all about teens in fashion and savvy, and the luck that can accompany one into stumbling into a high rated job. In my opinion, the concept of using a fifteen years old teenager as a vice president for a design company appears unrealistic and can be identified as fiction. However, it is currently shown in different work places where the older people e or employees find it difficult to appreciate the success of the younger workers.
It becomes even more complicated when the young people hold on to some titles since the other employees can result to unethical behaviors. This social issue is shown in the program when True happens to become the vice president yet Amanda was older in the fashion house and had not achieved this similar opportunity. The director uses True Jackson to show the happiness experienced in acquiring a job although in the case of True it was short lived. She had to deal with work places relationships that in her opinion are just similar in complications to high school relationships.
In this situation, creativity and spunky are required to ensure victory against the other employees, an also prove her worth and competence to her disdainful adult co-employees. In this program, families have a lot to discuss about especially on the portrayed adult behavior as shown in the program. The director of the program shows immaturity in the manner the adults in the program behave since True receives favors and approval from their boss based on her good work performance. However, they disapprove this fact and result to excluding her so that they would engage in unworthy gossip. On
