Children across the globe are encountering domestic violence as a regular phenomenon of their life. Initial research focussed on women, who were considered the primary victims of domestic violence (Girard, 2008). However, this trend has changed significantly to include children as co-victims of domestic violence alongside women.
+I have noticed that children who experience a significant impact of domestic violence are prevented from building relationships with other family members and people in their community. It is very important to seek immediate rectification and introduce measures to reduce the incidence of domestic violence in order to assure the smooth and proper development of children.
The following research study has been focused and directed towards ascertaining the impact of domestic violence on children. The impact of domestic violence on children will be investigated and researched in light of evident consequences on their growth due to allegations of domestic violence. The problems encountered in the growth, development, behaviour, and attitude of the children on account of domestic violence will be ascertained with the help of various literary sources.
