There are many definitions for the act of violence. However, looking at the different aspects of the violence, the most complete definition is given by the World Health Organization. According to WHO, ‘violence is the intentional use of physical and psychological force or power, threatened or actual, against oneself, another person, or against a group or community, that either result in or have a high likelihood of resulting in injury, death, psychological harm, maldevelopment, or deprivation’.
