Response on the Criminal Documentary The Criminal is a controversial documentary that explains how s are capable of crimes and even terrorism. The position is thought provoking especially with its share of presented evidences such as the use of game theory in directing American policy. However, there is a great deal of conjecture in the documentary. For example, it was argued that the 9-11 attack was a decade-long conspiracy, involving American politicians and intellectuals. Gates argument is severely weakened by a focus on one side alone. There is no balance in the gathering of evidences. I would have wanted the documentary to objectively investigate the supposed methodical campaign to condition the mind of the Americans against Saddam Hussein. There were no references to the circumstances that have triggered several policy and political pronouncements against him. It would mean, in one takes Gates’ position, that those policies were concocted out of thin air. Read More
