Smoking definitely creates a lot of problems to the smoker and others who forced to breathe the smoke produced by the smoker. The family members, friends and the co-workers of the smoker may respond differently to the as far as their relationship with the smoker is concerned. If the smoker’s wife doesn’t like smoking, then definitely their marital relationships can be adversely affected. On the other hand, if both husband and wife are smokers, then their relationship may not be affected much because of smoking.

“Couples develop routines and patterns of how they relate to each other. This involves all sorts of activities including smoking. This is true whether only one person smokes or both do” (Relationships and Smoking). The above fact is true in the case of relationships of the smoker with his friends and co-workers at the workplace. Smokers like the company of smokers and non-smokers don’t like the company of smokers.
