Both Manichaeism and Paulicianism took roots in the teaching of Gnosticism. As we can judge from the remarks made by Leon Arpee, the tow sects were sometimes mixed. This might have happened while after the sixth century in Europe the term Manichaeism was used to designate any heretical group. Though the information on the sects is scarce and inaccurate.

Growing up, I have known nothing of Christianity or any of the religious traditions that are observed in this country.  When I decided to learn something about it, I quickly discovered that simply going to a church would not be sufficient to fill this void for me.  There are many different types of Christianity practiced in the United States and each group has its own priorities and emphasis. 

During those days ailments used to be more common and fatal and it was believed that the gods who were angry with the sinful people were responsible for the sufferings. These feelings of insecurity developed the need for such a system that could heal diseases and bring a sense of well being for the community.

We would be discussing the third phase which pertains to death and afterlife. The people believed that icons, which were much used in the churches, had immense powers. In addition, leaders across Europe believed and attended Catholic masses to the chagrin of iconoclastic reformation leaders

Using the assumption that the Koran was written by Muhammad’s followers, based on the prophet’s teachings, Muhammad believed that people in Islamic society were falling away from Allah and needed a guide to help them restore their humanitarian values. Life of the believer of Christianity is unique in terms of the existence of an invisible and unseen dimension that is pivotal in the spiritual life of Christian followers. It is a belief of Christians that the Holy Spirit is the cause of such unseen forces that are supernatural, and function to provide a framework.

Religions always give importance to the life after death whereas science gives importance to the current life. People are not satisfied with the short duration of their current life and they are always looking for ways for sustaining their life even after death and religions give hope for a life after death

They worried that their forefathers were died of without evangelized and according to their beliefs their souls would not get salvation as they were not evangelized. In a parody of this logic, it can be noted that huge numbers of the world’s population are living in poverty. God obviously prefers poverty and blesses those nations that keep the most people in poverty, as is evidenced by the continually increasing numbers of people living in poverty. This is a tautological argument

The book offers a deep insight into the strategies of starting a new church. Despite being too theoretical to be applicable to real situations, the book is still a good read and guide to outlining the requirements for prospective planters. One of the most important things about this book is the power of having mentors and life coaches.

The author states that atmospheric carbon dioxide levels have dramatically increased. Any variation in weather conditions is called a climate change particularly when that change lasts for a really long time from decades to millions of years. Many human activities are responsible for causing these climate changes.

The book looks at the ancient time Christian and Muslims and their practices for comparison. The thesis elaborates the difference between the practices in these two different timelines. The problem is that it does not give the reason to which the difference came to exist. Is it because the Quran and the Bible changed or what?

Unfortunately after the passing away of the Prophet the Muslims got divided amongst themselves into various sects, one of which is Sufism. I strongly believe that love is a stronger deterrence against promiscuity. When a child’s cup is full of love where the home is filled with affection, the child will no longer seek love elsewhere. The fourth chapter of the book focuses on enlightening readers on ‘the crucified messiah’. The question regards Jesus and whether He had the intention of accepting death.

This is to suggest, too, that to overcome the division is overcoming the evil because as we stand divided, we are aware that that which divides us is evil, especially when it leads to causing harm of others. Each of the three books, as well as the other influential traditions, emphasize a need for good to win out over evil

One assumption about religion is that it makes it helps in the identification of experiences or responses to the sacred, which includes the human quest of seeking favor from holy beings or from the sacred. Learning about the religious groups allowed seeing that each group is correct in believing what they do, as it fits them and their purposes. Many people are born into their religions, as opposed to choosing one of their own, so any other religious path might be confusing or unbeneficial for them. There are some aspects of one religion that could be out of place in culture, rendering it pointless.

These gospels were meant to guide us, teach us, rebuke us, and comfort us whenever we need such. The Word of God is often misunderstood and taken out of context, but it was made to help and change the hearts of men and bring them back to God.

On the other hand, there are things that we would rather keep hidden in our closets. We all conceal things that we consider embarrassing or shameful, such as the game lost by a huge margin, or the exam miserably failed, or that first awkward date you would give your right hand to forget. We do not want to appear at fault because we feel embarrassed and ashamed.

The passage begins with Judas Iscariot offering his services to the chief priest.  He volunteers to identify Jesus so he can be apprehended and brought to trial. Jesus observes the Passover with his apostles, where he teaches them concerning the sacrament of bread and wine.  He said of the bread, “Take, eat; this is my body”. Of the wine, he said, “Drink ye all of it; for this is my blood of the new testament”.

This passage is important because it established the fact that Muslims believe in a merciful God, but also a god that can be provoked to wrath. It also establishes the fact that there is only one true god. The section Women deals heavily with providing equal rights to property (dowry) under the law. It is especially beneficial to orphaned girls.
