Dialog between Arjuna, Krishna and Buddha at the Battle Field of Arjuna Feelings Primarily, I have requested Krishna to take me to the middle of the battlefield. Upon getting there, I roseto stand and looked to the frontlines of the enemy. Unfortunately, I saw my cousins, uncles, teachers, and friends. I then collapsed back into the seat in very depressed and desponded.I won’t fight the war. I am the all-time greatest warrior alive and have got depression at the outset of the greatest war in history. However, the dialog in which Krishna taught Arjuna is the true nature of reality(Esposito, Fasching and Lewis 8). As a result, the paper attempts to describe the dialog between Arjuna, Krishna, and Buddha on the battlefield. The dialog would center on control over the mind, violence, duty and welfare of the people. The paper would also be written in first person, but some section would be in the third person. Arjuna and Krishna I remember only one and the first question that Paul set out for all of us to contextualize when we started studying the Bhagavad Gita that until now I have feelings that are paints in a significant and simple light. In the first place, what made mere quest Krishna to take me out to the battlefield having knowledge at the beginning that I would find there? I feel that if you contemplate and peel adequate layers from the question, it boiled down to the question Vedanta tried to answer. I questioned the value of war when it caused the death of those held dear. However, by killing my family, immorality reigns and long held traditions die as well. I see mygrandfathers, uncles, teachers, brothers, sons, maternal uncles, comrades, and grandsons. I can see my fathers-in-law; imagine dear ones and all those kinsmen standing in the ranks of the two armies. I am overcome with great sorrow and compassion. O Krishna, looking at my kinsmen at the front line to with a desire to fight, my lips and mouth dries up as well as my limbs failing. Moreso, all my body quivers, and my hairs stand on end (Esposito, Fasching and Lewis 17). The bow is slipping from my skin, and my hand is burning intensely. My head turns, I am not in a position tosteadily stand and, O Krishna, I can foresee bad omens. I do not see any use of killing my kinsmen in battlefield. My desire is not pleasure or even victory or kingdom, O Krishna. What is the significance of the kingdom, to enjoy, or even living, Krishna? Because all those we desire enjoyment, pleasures, and kingdom, are the forefront and they standing here for the fight, giving up their wealth and lives? (Esposito, Fasching, and Lewis 29). Arjuna can you listen, how can a person who understands that the Atma is eternal, cannot destruct, unborn, imperishable and eternal would destroy or take away the life of anyone. Just as a person wears garments, that are new after they discard the ones that are old, in a similar manner Atma acquire bodies that are new immediately after casts away the worn out bodies. In addition, O Arjuna Arsenal cannot cut this Atma, cannot be burnt by fire whatever, water does not make it wet, and wouldn’t be dried by the wind. In summary, Atma wouldn’t be wetted, dried up, burned nor cut. It is all-pervading, eternal, not movable, and primeval and cannot change. The Atma is said to be unmanifest, unthinkable, and cannot change. Getting to understand Atma as such you are not supposed to fear and grieve. Krishna explained to Arjuna that his misapprehensions are blinding him. Arjuna’s uncles and cousins at the opposition are already dead, because of their choices, and it is the nature of things. Krishna told Arjuna that it is his fate and nature to fight the war and that he should not allow his fleeting human nature blind him and should fight the war (Esposito, Fasching and Lewis 39). Buddha reaction to what Krishna had told Arjuna Throughout the past, religions I have applied stories and myths to assist in offering explanation as well as guiding the human experience. For example, the Babylonians had their tales of Marduk while the Romanians passed down the heroics of Remus and Romulus. Like these, Hinduism has its famous tales. Perhaps, the most admiration of these is the Bhagavad Gita, the most known tale that explains the Hindu way of Salvation. To set the stage, the Bhagavad Gita started with you and here is your family you want to fight. Arjuna was declared the King but majority of his family members also wanted the kingdom. Arjuna should not shed the blood of his families, and there is need to avoid the fight. Ironically, Krishna has stepped in and attempted to convince you it is your duty to kill your rebellious kinsmen(Esposito, Fasching and Lewis 4). Look here, in an event that a warrior exerts and strives himself in a battlefield, his thoughts are already debased, seized, and misdirected hence misled the mind. Arjuna these beings should be slaughtered, destroyed, struck down and annihilated as well.  They should not exist. If others then killed and struck you down while you are still making efforts in battle, then with the breakup of the body immediately after dying, you are born again in the eternal torment known as the dynasty of those murdered in battle.  However, if he holds such a view as this When a warrior exerts and strives himself in battle, if others then murdered him and struck down while he is forcing and attempting to win the battle, and then with the breaking up of the body, after death, he is born again accompanied by devas killed in battle, that is his un rightfully view. At the moment, there are two destinations for a person with un rightfully views; I can tell you it is either the animal womb or eternal (Esposito, Fasching and Lewis 49).  The soldier cried uncontrollably and then broke down because he felt that the Buddha’s words were so cruel, but because he believed their truth and was upset at his earlier teachers for having lied to him. Buddha is essentially stating that the moment you carry on a war; you have already profaned yourself and, as a result, there is no eternal life for those who wage war. Having a personal views that you would go to heaven is like sinning twice. They get a position in eternal torment for having those wrong views.  Krishna was the one who attempted to explain to Arjuna his duties as a prince and a warrior. Their dialog comprised the Bhagavad Gita, which is Hindu sacred scripture that has been considered one of the most significant texts in the literature history. Because Krishna was such a peripheral figure in Arjuna’s life and fought together on the battlefield, Krishna attempted to advise Arjuna through his perspective. As a result, Arjuna decided to fight because of Krishna influence. In addition, the reason as to why Krishna believed Arjuna is a warrior is because even as a boy, his mastery and concentration of Arsenal were impressive and led him to become a favorite and brave student. Moreso, Arjuna and his siblings were taught by their mentor in archery. They used to have a competition in that their objective was to shoot the eye of a bird from a distance far away. However, although Arjuna had the skills, he is competing against the sons of gods. Such fight cannot be taken lightly, and it wont be easy for Arjuna to win out against those young warriors.
