The end times prophecy is known among Christians as the Second Coming of Christ, a time when Jesus Christ would descend from the heavens to judge the living and the dead. Some analysts already claim that the events relating to the end of times are and have already unfolded. The books of the bible, specifically the Books of the Revelation, of Daniel, and Isaiah all indicate that there would be terrible events that would mark the end of the days. There would be a terrible apostasy (Amazing Bible Timeline, n.d), and the restoration of the power of the gospel.

There would also be a major disturbance of all the elements and a significant opportunity to transmit the teaching of the gospel to the world. There would be wars and news of war spread to other parts of the world, triggering fear among the people. Jesus Christ promises peace to its people. The Bible also indicates specific prayers to be prayed and different actions that must be taken in order to prepare and to get through such times. There are different terms that must be understood in order to develop a better conceptualization of the end times prophecy.

Each religion and sect has its own interpretation and expectation of rapture. Some believe that it would be a single event, while others believe that there would be two raptures, and still, others still believe it is already ongoing (Amazing Bible Timeline, n.d). Some also believe that it would be an actual event where people would be lifted to the heavens to meet the Lord. The stories of the rapture or the end of time are mostly found in the revelation books of the Bible, including the following books: Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, Hosea, Joel, Amos, Micah, Nahum, Zechariah, Malachi, and Revelations from Chapters 4 to 20 (Amazing Bible Timeline, n.d). From the new testament of the Bible, accounts of the end of the world include the writings from Matthew chapters 24-25, Mark, chapter 13, Luke, chapter 12: 37-48, 17: 20, 37, and 21: 50-38 (Amazing Bible Timeline, n.d). In Joel 2: 28, it mentions that the spirit shall be poured out on all flesh, and the Thessalonians (2:1-4) mention universal apostasy.

False prophets and false ‘Christs’ are also mentioned, along with good being called evil and evil being called good (Amazing Bible Timeline, n.d). Worldly knowledge would also increase and Israel would be restored as a political state. There would be earthquakes, floods, famines, and diseases, harsher than has ever been seen by man.
