Born in Egypt, Hassan Al Banna did not belong to a wealthy family. However, since his childhood, he was active in politics and is believed to have taken part in the demonstration against the British rule. His political training, therefore, started during his early childhood and combined with strong Islamic education, his ideas culminated and materialized in the form of strong reform movements in the Islamic world that radically gave a new concept to the Islamic State. According to many, The Islamic state is a dream might come true one day; hundreds of believers of this notion have sacrificed their lives to establish and maintain the 'Islamic Fundamental' ideology.

The concept derived from Prophet Muhammad and his caliphate of Islamic state entails implement the Islamic law in societies regardless of political order is ruling. colonialism with its adverse impact on the Muslim community and the dissolution of Ottoman Empire in 1924 both have stimulated the need of Islamic order to stop the extension of secularism and its influence on nationalistic calls for separation of religion and state. Therefore Muslims had to confront the opposition intellectual attacks in this critical era.

In 1928 the birth of transnational movement has emerged, founded by Hasan Al-Banna the social, religious and political activist from Egypt. "Muslim Brothers" the symbolic name refers to the movement chosen by him. The question is, did this movement succeed? Was the demand of structuring an Islamic state satisfied? What did Muslim societies benefit from this movement? This essay will, therefore, discuss life and times of Hassan Al Banna, the goals and strategies of Muslim Brotherhood, the overall ideas, and calls of Hassan Al Banna besides discussing the overall impact of the movement in constructing the ideology of an Islamic State.
