The Impact of Christianity Response Introduction Philosophy is a way of life for the people in the society. Through, the people are finding their way in their lives and enacting their roles as member of the significant member of the society. With consideration to the personal philosophy they adhere with, people are finding answers and to their crucial and critical questions mainly on the concept of man's purpose for existence. This is where the religion of Christianity affects the philosophy of the humanity in a critically significant way. The beliefs and principles of Christianity address much the dominant philosophies during the past and until the present generations wherein they seek to answer the most important questions of the humankind. With the teachings of this religion, peoples' views and ideas regarding humanity's purpose was significantly enlightenment giving the people a new life philosophy and hope through spirituality. The religious teachings of Christianity generally originated from the three-year ministry of Jesus Christ himself, which is critically highlighted, and emphasize with His death. During this time, the laws and principles of the God concretely reported in the Hebrew testament of the Holy Scripture were clearly explained and elaborated for the humanity to understand their significance. Inspired and proclaimed at the present by the Holy Bible, Christianity's teachings give the people a new way in life to follow by adhering to the guiding principles inspiringly explained by Jesus Christ himself. At the contemporary society, Christianity has already undergone many changes particularly in the structure of the general religion. Many sects and orders have sprung from the main body because of different views and interpretation of the message of the Holy Bible. However, all of the said division still carries in them one common philosophy, which particularly defines the principles of Christianity: love God and love your neighbors. Christian philosophy is generally characterized into two mainly originating from the ten commandments of the Hebrew Scriptures and the teachings of Jesus Christ documented in the Greek Scriptures namely, faith and God and its manifestation of loving one another. This principle transcends social norms such as society's structure, division and discrimination and selfishness. With this principle, the religion of Christianity has given a new philosophy for the humanity during their time of turmoil and disparity. With this philosophy, Christianity has able to bind the people in the spirituality perspective of living in faith with God and the salvation that awaits them in return. Important Aspects of Christianism "Why do Christians consider the Beatitudes (Matthew 5-7) some of Jesus' most important teachings'" During the ministerial and theocratic mission of Jesus on the face of the Earth, he continuously nourished his disciples and believers moral thoughts and encouragement regarding the morally inclining and spiritual enriching Words of God. He elaborated and thoroughly discuss to the common public the meaning and value of the principles embedded in the Words of God. Hs wisdom regarding these matters are very much unsurpassable and that they are spiritually inclining especially to the common public thus his teachings was widely accepted by the people. Among Jesus' teachings, his Sermon on the Mount becomes mostly strengthening because of the principles embedded on it. This discussion is commonly termed to be the Beatitudes where Jesus explicitly relates to the common public the true meaning and relevance of the Word of God. Through the said teaching, Jesus was able to capture the hearts and spirits of the people because his sermon showed deep emotions of concern and empathy to the weak and poor. His Words contain hope for happiness for the poor, weak, deceased families and weak but all spiritual conscious and have faith with the Word of God. (Matthew 5: 1-11). The Beatitudes generally are for the oppressed and weak people in the society that continuously adhere to the principles taught by Jesus. These are actually the majority of the public who has started to have dwindling faith because of their adversities and problems in life brought about by the injustice and violence in the social system. Thus, they find the teachings of Jesus on the mount to be very much important because through it they were able to find hope and strength for their faith to continuously struggle as the disciples and followers of the Word of God. "For what would you be willing to be martyred' Why' How would your martyrdom compare or contrast to that of an early Christian martyr'" Martyrdom is defined by philosophy and common social understanding to be the continuous struggle of an individual amidst all the adversaries and hindrances in his or her quest of promoting and adhering to the principles he or she strongly believes in. This is commonly expressed in terms of the person faith to his principles fueling his or her passion and strengthening him or her in overcoming the suffering. In religious aspect, this is the enduring passion of an individual to his faith against all of the oppositions he or she faced with. Every individual has their own reason for their own martyrdom and this differs with each other in nature. Patriots are known for their martyrdom for their patriotism while soldiers have their own reason specifically their loyalty to their code. However, own enduring passion has viewed to be very powerful that is able to withstand oppression and cruelty for years as entailed in the human history. Christians have already withstand and struggle against the strongest storms in the history who all aim to destroy these people faith at all cost. History has a long record of Christian people being persecuted and oppressed because of their beliefs mainly their faith and obedience to the principles promoted in the Bible. For them, martyrdom because of faith is actually a blessing that brings them closer to the promised salvation of everlasting life. Thus, with the passion that Christian people has was able to strengthen them to continuously endure the hardship and social oppression they are faced with in adhering and believing in the Word of God and in delivering its message to all the people throughout the world. Conclusion With the teachings and principles of Christianity, this religion has given the humanity a new lifestyle of practicing spiritual faith towards the Creator manifested through exercising His commandments. Christianity has modified the beliefs and norms of the people with its teachings regarding the views and concept of right and wrong in accordance to the teachings of the Bible. The implementation of the Christian philosophy rekindled a new path of servitude in the name of faith and established the religious social structure to proclaim the teachings and morals of the Holy Bible. Christian philosophy has also contradicted certain social norms and concepts that are viewed to be inappropriate for the humanity as they are deemed in contrast to the doctrines in the Bible. The expansion of Christianity has also raised personal morals and conduct as they are held to be the rightful way in accordance to Christian philosophy. By putting the God-inspire words of the Bible in the center of the lives of the people, Christian philosophy has able to modify the life and path of the humanity in living up their purpose in accordance to God's plan.
