It always leads to predetermined perception about our future and those of others. When people within the ecosystem don’t meet our targets as we focus, it happens that we tend to develop attitudes about them instead of finding the means to helping them come out of such situations. For instance, it is a personal decision to work hard in life and be successful but some individuals are too lazy to work hard and therefore, we tend to develop our attitudes about them and their in abilities to work hard in life. The attitudes that we develop may be for the common good of the second party but in most cases it leads to disadvantages and result in detrimental illusions. Ecosystem relationships come handy in bringing together colleagues, friends, families and any other aspect of the environment [Flo98]. While shaping the ecosystem about the environment and the social life, we pump into case scenarios like the one below. Ecosystem theories in the social work have been well accepted because of its design of giving solutions to life problems. The psychosocial focus of the theory has been adopted because it puts a lot of attention on the individuals, families, groups, and communities are constituents as [Lad91] claims. Sarah is a family woman, and she has four children, but she is going through family problems. While she has been advised to get help from the various institutions that can help her solve her marital issues, she is not able to this with the claim of husband’s love. One of the children (Reece) may have copied the character of the family, and he is bullying other students. This is a family who needs counseling because of this problem this problem they are facing. To understand the situation well and to know which of the decisions to take, it is important for the counselor to relate the situation with the personal theories and the ecosystem theories available. The ecosystem approaches when well analyzed, it can help in understanding the best approach to use while addressing the issue of Sarah family and may be given the best advice to the mentioned. To understand the setup of the ecosystem well, there is need to bring up the five systems making up the whole system namely; microsystem, ecosystem, exosystem, macro system and Chrono system Microsystem Human interaction tithes it environment affects them directly. In this case, according to [Luh89],a micro system influences the way the human being brings up the essence of human interaction n in the sense that it is the smallest unit of the system.In the microsystem, there are institutions which affect the people directly. These agencies handle the direct influence of the child develops. Apart from the institutions, we have groups that have a direct influence on the development of the child. An example of these groups is; family, school, religious institutions, neighborhood, and peers. The family of Sarah has influenced the behavior of the children. The fact that Reece is bullying the rest of the students may be attributed to the behavior of his father who is mistreating their mom. On the other hand, may is a humble student and this character may be assigned to the mother or the religious family or institution that she attends. Both good and bad character that children acquire as they develop is an influence in cost cases by the society around. The neighborhood and peers will not be left behind because they also play a role in making sure that the behavior of those close to them cope. In making decisions about what to do, therefore, you will find that the decision will be influenced but the perception of those they are close to. Mesosytem In an ecosystem, the interaction is between the Microsystems themselves. In this case, the parents may be brought to a point of understanding between them teachers or the peers of the children and the family. In this kind of life equation, the children are made to interact and present their issues to the senior or parents to those who can help them. Macrosystem This a generalized cultural set up in which people live. In cultural contexts, the area may be developed or underdeveloped and in the end influence the thinking of the people who are living within that area. In mot case, the people who are living within one eco-environment will be seen to share coming traits in behavior, status, and heritage. Ethnicity, poverty and socio-economic set up will always affect the way people perform their duties. The impact of this school of thought is that, when something happens in life, it may not be at its peak but with time. For instance, when divorce in a family occurs, the pain of it is always felt during the first as it as at the peak. With time, the pain wards off and everything settles to be normal. A family that is faced with trouble like that one for Sarah and Craig may decide to break up the family or visit the Department of domestic violence. On member of the family may feel depressed by this move but with it chronological turn of events, the whole situation will be back to normal. When we develop opinions about some aspects of life, it is very common to find people making wrong interpretations about others. Some families like that of Craig and Sarah have problems, not of their making but are influenced by the society. The children develop attitudes, behaviors and characters as shaped by those they are close to. When a family fight, it is very common to find that the children will develop that behavior as a result of copying the person next to them. In conclusion, therefore, it is imperative to put the focus on understanding the section of the people we are close to. If we make decisions based on our assumptions we tend to make the wrong choice of decisions.
