Selfless service is a psychological concept that examines the extent to which persons prioritize the welfare of the public above their own interests, as well as their environment (Lefcourt, 1976). Hiers and Heckel (1977) found that efficacious leaders are gifted with elevated intramural selfless service; while, less successful ones have low level or rather they completely lack selfless service. The association between internality and control may perhaps be rationalized by the fact that persons with an intramural selfless service have confidence in their capability to accomplish self-appointed goals (Klein & Wasserstein-Warnet, 1999).

The sampling procedure will focus on individuals studying at the Graduate School of Business as well as the alumni of a Business School. An on-line platform will be employed to distribute self-administered questionnaires which shall be completed by the respondents, and the outcomes to be assembled by electronic means. The selection of the questionnaires to be used will be propelled by a number of factors such as time so as to guarantee that the rejoinders will be from the envisioned respondents.

In addition, note taking shall be used for the purposes of clarity in the data. The questionnaire shall comprise of the shortened account of the internal-external scale questions that will try to identify the aspect of selfless service in the respondents. An eleven (11) item abbreviated scale will be employed to determine selfless service anticipation of the respondents. Alternatively, the participants will be allowed to score every account beginning from one to four, on the basis of the level of conviction in the direction of the statement.

The results from the questionnaires will be coded and analyzed using a statistical software, most probably SPSS or R which will compute the means, standard deviation, distribution of the data and other aspects such as confidence intervals, t test and normality of the statistics. To validate
