Peers Comments Affiliation: Answer from Dakota Stephens I agree with you that being without sight or hearing is a difficult situation to be with but not completely hopeless as you put across. Put your-self in the shoes of those who are blind or deaf, not all of them have a very difficult time and some of them cope rather well and beyond our imagination. When one lacks sight or hearing ability, the other senses become more aroused as they try to fill in the lost sense and hence the imagination of such a person is immense and describing for them things such as the sun together with what they have learnt would make them have a vivid imagination of it.
There is a lot of literature out there that has stories through experiences and even advice to the visually impaired and also those with other disabilities as well on how to cope (NA, NA, 1997). Answer from Emi YadaYour discussion is good and I wholly agree with it. I would more so like to agree with the aspect that even if one lacks the sense of hearing or sight, they can still make it to be artists. Even in this field of interior designing, one can still become an interior designer because one does not need to be on the ground but can be a consultant or even a tutor once one becomes complacent with the subject.
According to the foundation for the blind, there are also many other careers that people with visual impairment can go into and should not despair. ReferencesFoundation for the Blind. (n.d.).
