In the video, the neuroscientists have carried out various tests on several people by scanning their brains. They have been able to identify several aspects such as what you are thinking about, and what you are about to think of through the processes that take place before a decision is made. Their main study and discovery were based on the central nervous system.
The scientists observed the part of the brain responsible for controlling intentions. The brain displays various patterns for different actions. This depends on the activity taking place in the brain. The scientists have also demonstrated the ability to be able to determine crime suspects using this particular technique although it may be argued that it may be misused for commercial or marketing purposes.
The Indian lady mentioned in the video was linked to the poisoning of her ex-boyfriend. There was however very little evidence to prove this in the court. According to human rights, it is impossible to forcefully carry out some of these tests such as genetic or blood tests. When the neuroscientists carried out a brain scan on the Indian woman, it was revealed that she was responsible for the poisoning of her ex–boyfriend. This assisted the security personnel in their investigations although the technique has not been proven to be correct and accurate. This kind of test can be believed to some extent since the brain can detect one’s kindness, hypocrisy, and love.
The method of brain scanning to identify several things cannot be used in the United States of America shortly. This is so because it has not been proven to be accurate and true. The ethical law doesn’t permit this to happen. It has to be changed to accommodate some of these tests. The matter has to be determined by the Supreme Court.
Genetics consists of the identification of human genes attached to specific individuals. For you to be able to identify one’s genes you have to carry out blood tests and some other tests required. It is difficult to force someone to undergo the test. An individual has a right to object forceful tests to be carried out. The ethical law does not allow that to happen. Every individual has a right over his or her body by all means.
Many people have come up with different opinions concerning genetics and biology with affect ethical laws and moral standards. Some argue that it is appropriate for scientists to carry out brain scans to determine various issues such as crime but it will be a breach of human rights to forcefully carry out those tests that have not been proven to be accurate and true by government agencies since there are so many speculations. There are circumstances where there are suspected criminals in a particular offence and there is no clear evidence. Biological tests can help prove if someone is guilty or not.
