Online Environments Affiliation: Online environments are highly characterized by the diversities and dynamisms of the world. The world within and without the human body is perceived in different ways by different people. It is important to note that only an individual can perceive his/her own inner world, since another person can hardly access what is actually going on from the inside. However, the outside world is open to anyone, making it easy to tell how one person perceives the world relative to another.

This is the same case with online environments, where anyone from anywhere can access them.Sensory perceptions inform an individual about the world outside the body, and they make use of the hearing, sight, taste, smell, and touch senses (Gardner, 2006). As already mentioned, online environments are diverse and dynamic in nature, and they accommodate worldwide differences across cultural, social, religious, economic, and political aspects. Limited use of sensory perceptions in these environments can be advantageous in one way or another.

Such advantages can spread from an individual to across local, national, and international borders.To start with, exposure to online environments with a limited use of sensory perceptions can allow an individual to compare, assess, and evaluate local, national, and international human behaviors and thinking processes, thereby allowing the individual to understand the different ways of life that exist around the world. Without limiting the use of sensory perceptions in such an environment, this goal could prove hard to accomplish due to the prejudices and haphazard conclusions that our senses would immediately create for that environment.

When a limited use of sensory perceptions is employed, the underlying diversity and dynamism of online environments are transferred to the people, resulting in diversified human behavior and approach to the world outside their bodies.Extensive interaction of people is enhanced when people put their differences aside. The hearing, sight, taste, smell, and touch senses make enable people to perceive things differently. On the same note, the approach of these people to world knowledge differs relative to their sensory perceptions.

Use of our sensory perceptions at a limited extent provides a platform within which people can interact and share their differences, especially knowledge and skills. Specifically, online environments provide a common ground where the world meets, thus making the use of limited sensory perceptions a catalyst to individual, social, and state relations.Sensory perceptions influence beliefs, thoughts, decision making, problem solving, and social relations across cultural, religious, social, economic, and political divides (Moore & Kearsley, 2005).

Essentially, cognitive psychology is increasingly becoming interesting in the body of knowledge that is constituted by sensory perceptions. In order to establish a concrete ground for the evaluation of this body of knowledge, it is vital to capture different point of view and perspectives towards sensory perceptions. In this respect, considering both sides of the story is fundamental. That is, the use of limited and unlimited sensory perceptions in various environments should be considered. Online environments are broad (intensive and extensive) in scope (Gardner, 2006), thus providing a useful resource for cognitive psychology especially in relation to limited use of our sensory perceptions.
