A research design is therefore important for any scholar practitioner as it helps one accomplish their research objectives. One’s ability to conduct research can greatly contribute to one being an effective scholar practitioner who can be at the forefront of initiating and effecting social change in the society (Lawrence, 2006). The ability to conduct research includes one’s skills in planning for the research and conducting the research within the acceptable ethical and professional standards.

Great scholar practitioners can influence major decisions in the society through their research findings and thereby contributing to social change in their societies (Creswell, 2012). Scholar practitioners with great ability to conduct research often put the needs of their societies at the forefront and most of their research projects are aimed at improving their societies. Social change involves development of projects to improve the environmental conditions and the living conditions of the people (Lawrence, 2006).

Scholar practitioners have a role to initiate social change through conducting research that aims at improving the living standards and the environmental condition of the people in their societies. . The Difference It Will Make To Me I personally love leadership since I intend to be in a leadership position in the corporate world. This course has had a huge impact on me personally in terms of how I view leadership and how leaders can influence the society and their subjects positively (Myers, 2004).

I intend to use the insights gotten from this course in order to improve on my leadership skills. Whether I Am Ready For It I am ready for my dissertation because I believe I have mastered the necessary skills required to be able to conduct a research study that can reveal groundbreaking information that can be relied upon in initiating social change (Hergenhahn, 2005). I believe I am ready to use the knowledge gathered from this course to improve on my professional skills in leadership in my career.

This is because I have given may all in this study, paying a lot of attention to finer details and I am convinced that I have the necessary skills to be a professional (Ader, Mellenbergh, & Hand, 2008). Assignment 3: Forum final thoughts Comment about the course This course has been very interesting and at the same time informative. All the topics and issues we discussed in class have been very fascinating to me. I like the fact that most of the issues n the course are things that we can apply in our day-to-day lives.

This means that we can use the skills gained in the course to change our society (Creswell, 2012). The main goal of going to school is for us to gain and build on our skills in order to bring meaningful change in the society and in our professional lives. This course enables us to gain practical skills that we can apply in our day
