Extract of sample "The Personal Identity of a Person"

The casual factors include cultural differences, gender differences, and personality differences. This paper looks at the relationship between these factors and their influence on the identity of a person.

Self-consent, a construct also referred to as self-construct self-identity or self-perspective determines how a person perceives or their self about several factors.
The environment in which a person lives is a major determiner of the personality of the person and how the individual perceives himself. The people around a person that forms the society and the community influence how the person conceives personality. The behavior of a person is likely to be aligned with the person’s culture and other people’s behavior. Personally, culture is probably the most influential factor that determines an individual’s self-consent. Culturally, I am obliged to be self-sufficient and independent.
The normative imperative of this notion is that I am required to discover myself early enough to be in a position to express my attributes. The cultural setting has defined the form of interaction that I need to conform to. Memberships of various groups or clubs, relationships with other people, and their needs ought to come last in preference to personal needs. Society expects me to conform to the norms of society, and be part of it. I rarely perceive myself as a part of society, but rather individually and more separate from society. Whether it is a good thing or a bad thing, I cannot change this belief but have to conform to it as long as am part of society.

Gender defines who a person is about sexuality. Women and men are classified by their gender. The normality of society to determine the strength of a person through gender is very influential to that person. A man is more independent than a woman and is expected to be more self-reliable than a woman. Women are more dependent than men on their side. Groups in which women relate with one another are quite small, while those of men are generally large. I conceive myself as part of the groups, I need to be more independent, and more self-reliant. Other groups define my ways since I am part of them. Although the relationship could be casual, and easily
Nobody lives in a vacuum. Everybody is likely to depend on other people for several reasons. During the interaction, the person is likely to pick a variety of traits or characteristics from the rest of the people. Regardless of the principles of a person, these influences are likely to affect the person.
