Both of the parents are in the relatively taller height scale of people with the father being slightly longer than the mother. The height of the mother is 5 feet 3 inches while that of the father is 5 feet 7 inches respectively. Both the parents do not possess any family history of any mental or cardiovascular disease. Moreover, the healthy individuals, who are the parents of the child, are vibrant and enthusiastic in nature since they are relatively young and motivated towards life. The mother possesses a sound aesthetic sense and is an avid fan of sculpture, poetry and other forms of art.
Her personality type can be categorized as being inclined towards the type ‘B’ emotional paradigm. The father of the child, on the other hand, is an athlete and plays football every evening after work. He is an energetic individual who is smart and possesses type ‘A’ personality. Pregnancy Conditions The pregnancy of the child under consideration was overall smooth and normal. The mother remained under favorable circumstances most of the time and no unfavorable family matters or external pressures troubled her during her pregnancy.
Physically she was pretty stable and healthy as well. She was a fond of eating healthy food since her childhood and loved to have fruits and fluids. This habit of hers helped her a lot in getting rid of the early trimester nausea. The mother was not troubled by any sort of cramps in the muscles of legs or backache. Even her blood tests showed her mineral levels to be ideally stable. The mother strictly kept away from any sort of smoking or alcohol during her pregnancy and remained highly motivated about taking care of herself for the sake of the baby that was being bought up within her.
The young mother-to-be (23 years of age) had all her elder siblings as doctors. She was inclined towards finding out more and more information about the growing body within her and for that she would send hours studying books over the developing baby and the prosperity of the child. The mother of the baby was still attending her last year of university when she conceived the child. Her husband was very supportive of her and often helped her out with household chores. They were a blessed and happy couple who loved each other.
The wife was often taken care of by being taken out for occasional walks and long drives so as to keep her emotionally stable and calm. The mother did not have to work during her pregnancy but during the first six months she did complete her ongoing semester in the university by attending her classes regularly and appearing for the examinations, passing them with flying colors. This further boosted her confidence. Early Childhood The young child scored relatively well on the growth chart. The mother took special care in preparing the healthiest of foods for her child.
The child was administered short and healthy meals timely thus resulting in stable and active growth of the child. The mental development of the child was exactly in line with Piaget’s sensorimotor thinking concepts. Though the child recognized few of the distinctive sounds such as that of the blowing of a car horn and the playing of nursery rhymes, he was of the opinion that things ceased to exist once they were out of his sight. In accordance with the eight stages of psychological development as laid out by Erikson the child showed promising growth.
