With time, the fossils collected and accumulated on the sea bed. Geologists describe the area on which the mountains exist to be at the edge of two active tectonic plates: Baltica and Siberia. The tectonic plates are considered to be constructive plates. The two tectonic plates collided and their forces pushed the plates against one another in a constant force. The force was so intense that it pushed the earth’s crust beyond its elastic limit. With time the earth’s crust got compressed as folded upwards resulting to the Ural Mountains. This was a gradual process that lasted for many years.
The area that was formerly covered by the Palaeoralic Ocean was now part of the Ural Mountains. It took with it the fossil remains that was on the sea bed. The water that was contained in the ocean was displaced as result of rise in altitude of the area. Considering that the fossils had been in existence for over millions of years and that they were several of kilometers deep, it was impossible for the environmental factors like rain to completely wear out the fossil remains (Wright, 1977). In addition, the weight of the water along with other forces had compacted together the fossils forming semimetal rocks which currently exist on the top of Ural Mountains. This theory unlike other theories is credible and fully arguable especially in its endeavor to explain the existence of sedimentary rocks atop the Ural

The theory states that “the continents had once been joined, and over time had drifted apart in a giant supercontinent called Pangaea.” (Sant, 2010; “Tectonic Plates,” 2011) One of the proofs of the theory is the jigsaw fit that the continents make with those adjacent to it.
It was not until the 1960s that scientists were able to explain the mechanism, finally answering Wegener's problem, which was that solid continental and oceanic plates floated on a molten rock bed. This became known as Plate Tectonic Theory and has become widely accepted by geologists.
It is all about the nature. For comprehending the significance and power of natural disasters, it is quite enough to recollect the nine-magnitude earthquake that has happened in Japan this year. Hundreds of people were killed, millions of buildings and houses were destroyed, and thousands of victims were left without shelters or any means of livelihood.
Freudian Theory has been criticized by feminists. The most vocal critique among Second Wave feminists is Betty Friedan, whose cornerstone work Feminine Mystique (published in 1963) took issue with Freudian psychoanalysts. She perceived Freudian Theory to comply with a subordinate role for women in and outside the household.
Scientific observation of the surface of Mars has been greatly limited mostly to visual observations and the findings of remote controlled rovers sent by NASA to retrieve information. It is suspected that Mars may have had an atmosphere, water system, and crust similar to that of Earth.
rocks that have different composition from their parent rock, since the magma formed during partial melting is less viscous, thus attracts other components which cause it to solidify and form different rocks (Annen & Zellmer, 2008 p49). Rocks are formed of different mineral
vidently, over this period, many scientists have focused on explaining how the movement of plates has given rise to many of the geographical features. The paper shall discuss the history of tectonic plate theory, and discuss three geologic features. The three features under
The knowledge of plate tectonics has assisted people to plan for natural disasters (Rafferty, John p. 15).
Plate tectonic events cause natural disasters. Earth scientists reduce the effects of a natural disaster by relaying life-saving information. Good
