The effects of smoking cannabis are much adverse in people from 30-50 age groups. There are many rehabilitation centers that are helping Australian by initiating drug abuse and alcohol counseling. Heavily addicted people strictly need counseling as mere treatment will not help in restricting them from drug abuse. The young people tend to recover quickly as compared with the middle aged people (Cengage education on alcohol and other counseling 20134R readings 2008, p. 45). Evaluation The treatments provided by these rehabilitations include motivational counseling & Interviewing, creating bond with the family members, social interaction and certainly self-help and improvement.

Treatments like these helps the patients to overcome addiction and start a normal life by providing similar stories, explaining the negative effects. (Alcohol and Other Drugs Counseling Book 2, Motivational interviewing, Addiction and self-help, Co-dependency and family issues, Special needs groups, Current issues, Relapse prevention and module review 2005, p. 30). According to the media reports in Australia, Cocaine aggravates the decaying of skin which can be medically termed as Pupura. Do these media messages remain ignored or educate the people?
