Alcohol abuse has also accelerated the crime rate. The ill-effects of alcoholism have borne out evidently in census figures. Apart from alcoholism another lurking danger is other drug abuse. Drugs like Heroine, coke and ganja has increased to a great extent. Now, even students get access to these dangerous drugs and this is how many lives are ruined.

According to the research and reports by Australian institute for health and welfare (Australian government), the drug abuse has propagated heavily since 2004.
