Misleading Political Ads If you don’t know how to cleverly twist the truth to your favor, then you can’t be a politician. At least that is the message of the video that I am about to show you right now. It is almost always assumed that the two most—for the lack of a better word, corrupt careers are lawyers and politicians. Well, it’s quite understandable when it comes to lawyers; I guess it comes with the job description. But on the video I am about to show you, you will see how blatantly these politicians—and these are just but two examples, on how truth could be twisted in so many ways.

And the most dangerous part about it is that these people are our leaders. When you watch the video, note how Anderson Cooper explains how the two video clips corrupted the truth that they presented in their ads to mislead the public. Not only does it insult the voting public’s intelligence, but it also says a lot about each candidate—that they are driven, so driven in fact that they would go so far as distorting the truth, blatantly altering factual data, attacking a person’s character and religious belief, and using emotionally charged words that would elicit strong emotions to viewers—words such as “Taliban” that makes Americans become so sensitive.

Such ads must be highlighted so as not to fool the public into voting politicians who undermines the intelligence of the public and believe that they could get away with it. Let’s watch the video.
