The approach I shall undertake to conduct a teaching session in my own clinical area would be the mix of both of these approaches because a practicum is more conducive to learning if it is interactive and thus it will focus on both; the instructor and the learner. The plan of this “Mix Approach” would be;Step 1: Practice the skills and knowledge that are to be transferred to the studentsStep 2: Communicate the expectations and clarify what is desired from the students Step 3: Conduct participative lectures where students have the right to ask questions and give relevant examplesStep 4: Assist students in identifying their goals and aspirations and help them formulate a plan that channelizes their learning to achieve the set goalsStep 5: Follow an apprenticeship-based mechanism that combines classroom instruction with on-the-job experience.

It could be done by allowing the nursing students to practice as independently as possible. Encouraging them to recognize the healthcare priorities, develop their own time plan, deliver their care, handover, and document their actions while offering appropriate timely and productive ideas for future improvement.Practically doing things is not only affable but also an easy approach to assimilating the procedure.
