His manager asked him for a quick delivery, so the man tended to interweave in and out of the traffic whenever there was a holdup. On one such occasion, he couldn’t judge the breach between the two cars and the outer surface of his left knee strike a car bumper. When I examined him in the emergency section, he was found to have widespread paralysis of the muscles of his frontal and lateral sections of the left leg. Due to this, the patient was not capable of dorsiflexing the ankle joint and even his foot was having the problem.

I also noticed that there was an evidence of diminished feeling down the frontal and the lateral sides of his leg and dorsum of his foot and toes, in which the medial side of the toe was also included. I took a series of radiographs of his knee region and it showed no such evidence of bone fractures. Then I made the analysis of paralysis of the ordinary peroneal nerve secondary to that of the blunt shock to the lateral side of the left fibula. The radiographic examination which I took, ruled out the possibility of a crack of the neck of the fibula.

Based on the radiographic examinations of the patient, I treated him accordingly and planned a health care plan for the recovery of the patient’s health. Within two weeks, he was able to stand on his toes again and he was pleased to have such a proficient medical treatment and a healthier plan of care.As a nurse, I must make it sure that the decisions should be in the greatest interest of my client. I should stimulate and teach the patients regarding their physical and fitness. Such plans of care should be developed which should identify the patients’ preferred health outcomes.

I should anticipate potential health issues and their consequences on the patients while developing a health care plan.
