The interview done also did act as a limelight to those with a passion of becoming the head of nursing schools. She did explain the career path that she took, and the various other supportive courses are done to aid and strengthen her managerial skills. A long journey has led to her success as the head of the Nursing School. As the school of Nursing Head, Mrs. Diana has an immense role to play to facilitate the smooth running of the activities in the institution. He expanding nature of the institution and the profession metamorphosis have even led to an increase in the roles of the head.

She has an overall role of delivering holistic management to the students and the staff. After intensive interview with the manager, it did erupt that her roles in the nursing school are mainly managerial. She plays many decisional roles. It is her mandate to ensure smooth running of the school through right resource allocation. The main resources in the institution are minutes, materials, money, workforce, machines and methods. Staff must be available in the right proportion to enable quality education delivery.

The staff must be qualified so that they can deliver to the students. Despite the fact that there is a Human Resources Department, Mrs. Diana is the one having the overall mandate to authenticate the availability and sustainability of these resources. Staff remains the most valuable resources in the school. Conflict resolution is a part of her. Conflicts are likely to occur either internally or externally. Internal conflicts may occur between students and staffs, staffs and fellow staffs, student and subordinates.

They exist internally and have to be solved within the internal boundaries. Sometimes as a manager, she has to chip in and solve complicated conflicts especially those occurring at the top managerial levels. Students also come from a diverse and multicultural environment.
