Many researchers utilise these data collection methods in a similar manner as identified within the text. Many nurses rely on interviews because they can ascertain the respondent as the same person intended to be a participant within the research.In seeking to improve how research is undertaken within the nursing field, the principle of authenticity of the respondent remains significantly important (Beck, 2011).

Getting a response from wrong participants could adversely affect the findings of a research. The application of questionnaires makes researches prone to such falsehoods.
