College Being a nurse working in a healthcare facility, there are always disagreements among nurses that arise from issues that relate to how work should be done. As one of the nurses working here, I sometimes agree with their opinions while at times I disagree with their opinions. When this happens, we have to listen to each opinion and come up with the best option amongst them. However in most cases, I agree strongly with what my supervisor tells me about the job requirements. This is because of the experience that he has in this field. This always makes me to agree with the decisions that the head nurse and my supervisor gives on the nursing issue (Yoder, 2011).
In some cases, I am faced with a situation where clients expect me to do what I don’t want to do. In such cases, I have to make judgment on the best thing to do in that kind of situation and do it without making it personal to any of the parties. My departments have greatly contributed positively to ensuring that the job is easy. Inter department transfer is also easy for us due to the simplified nature of the processes that take in each departments. In case of any assistance in anything in the facility, there is always ready help from the support services. However when something has to be done urgently and the person doing it is not available, I have to do it without waiting for the person. However, the hospital rules sometimes limit the actions that I can do in the facility (Yoder, 2011).
