The study found that the nurses deteriorated in terms of their skills as a result of high patient ration to nurse ration (Aikan, et al, 2010). Policies and regulations imposed by the government and health organizations have posed challenges between patients and nurses who are often faced by the cost strains experienced between health care services. De Navas-Walt, Proctor, and Hill Lee (2006) as cited in Abood (2007, p.1), the nurses are usually the first to notice how the patients are suffering in terms of the cost experienced in health care institutions.

The following are some of my strategies to influence votes. Being a nurse, I will have to walk out of my cosiness region of my exercise amphitheatre into a lesser well-known arena where the regulations and the laws affecting patient care are created, and the struggle for limited resources are discussed and determined. Though, this will be time consuming and challenging I will bring a positive health care organization into actuality for their patients’ and them (Abood, 2007, p.1). I will work towards creating proposal, policy altering or vetoing other nurses’ proposals, and/or considerably influencing the functioning of health policy.

Through these, I will try and bring out change in the current health policy scheme. I will achieve these by conducting health workshops that will assist other nurses understand the current health issues. Using the workshops I will provide essays to the nurses and introduce new nurse to well experienced nurses encouraging new nurses to work as mentors (Abood, 2007, p.1). Using the notion of Potential Power of Numbers, I will encourage nurse to feel powerful among them within the health system.

Through potential power of numbers, the nurses could produce sufficient power to productively change the health care scheme based on statistics alone. This will develop the nurses’
