? Aspect of vulnerability on Adult with Learning Disabilities Introduction Vulnerability has several different meaning in thatit can mean being susceptible to attack. Vulnerability may also imply one’s proneness to mockery, and temptation. In this case, groups of individuals that are prone to attacks are referred to as vulnerable groups. People with mental illness Pritchard (2001 p.439) defines people with mental disorders as vulnerable because they inhabit the following several features. Such group cannot read, write, or manage their finances, and they cannot look, or take care of their personal matters. This group also cannot remember several things that are essential to life. The fundamental aspects such as those dealing with the environment are far-fetched to them. It is imperative that, people with mental illness often do dastardly things other than what is expedient for them. In life experience, such a vulnerable group is supposed to attend a memorable learning institution. They should attend a day centre and must have people who are capable to support them in life. They cannot also administer their social situations and should always be living in hospital. They cannot prepare their own meals, recognize the time, and has shortened communication power  as depicted by Cleaver & Nicholson (2008 p.90). Having known the meaning of this word, let us focus on people with mental weakness. This people are vulnerable in that they have a mental disorder and cannot leave and defend themselves independently. This calls for those who have a sound mind to help them. They are usually prone to negligence that is separation by their families and society as a whole. Those with mental disorder are vulnerable owing to because of their limited capacity to heed new information. Such information is complicated and are vital for them to learn new skills. They again face disability that may have accrued before adult hood with long lasting effects on the development. People with mental disability are individuals and institution can expose the most vulnerable group in society. They do abuse and neglect, and in most cases, abuse might go without being recognized, and hence not reported to the relevant authority. People with mental disability can have communication needs that hinder them to report any form of abuse to the authority. More so, they cannot know what they have experienced concerning abuse. Factors that can lead to mental illness According to Hollomotz (2011p.299), increased illness or infection can cause a non-ending pain and make them feel uncomfortable. For instance, people with Down’s syndrome usually are infected with chest disorders. There are also generic conditions where they are risk factors to mental health problems. Apparently, Down’s syndrome increases the possibility of getting Alzheimer’s disease. Another factor is brain damage, even though most individuals with mental disorder do not get brain damage, for some brain damage can cause their learning disability. More so we have self-image people with mental illness can feel they are different to their colleagues hence they set themselves apart. Having looked at internal factors lets also look at external factor. They include social causes where they reside in unfavorable environment. They are also prone to adverse life activities such as abuse, or may have experienced harassment. Again, there are things they expect from others but unfortunately, their expectations can be extremely low. In the family, they can get proper support but from exceptionally difficult situations. Because there may be stress of careering somebody with mental illness, this may cause financial impairment hence affecting family relations. These people encounter immensely less social networks and so they have controlled support. Safe guarding intervention Parker & Penhale (2009 p.288) points out that safeguarding intervention include assisting those people with mental problems to keep themselves safe avoiding harm. They also respond to harm and allegations in order to table plans to help and protect those infected. Several safeguarding interventions can address vulnerability in people with mental problems. These interventions are human rights, which enhances the possible equality to all human races. There is also north hackney communication in the United Kingdom, which also look into their problems and try to solve them out. Moreover, the Red Cross foundations also at some extend addresses these problems hence creating awareness to the society. The Role of Multidisciplinary or Multiagency group It is essential to note that, multi agency groups provide multidisciplinary advice to single agency provision in providing a teacher where there is not one. Secondly, the multi disciplinary group encourages the sharing and implementation of better practice. It is also the responsibility of the multi agency group to stimulate multiagency professionals in negotiating about the best ways education provision and administration of providential care. It is pertinent that, the multidisciplinary group has an obligation of promoting and coordinating the future development of integrated education. These include the administration of management and support of development workers together with the additional staff members. Moreover, the multidisciplinary agency enhances the formation of partnership as explained by Wilkinson (2008 p.200). Such partnership includes the development of progressive reports and reviews of the available plans. Lastly, the multi disciplinary agency fosters the identification and monitoring of funding opportunities that are available for reputable administration of their work. Policies and laws that safeguards interventions by the multiagency Communication protocols In looking at communication protocols, the police official provided the communication strategies. Watson (2007 p.162) says that, these strategies sought to resolve vital challenges encountered due to cultural influences. There are different forms of communication; it is pertinent to note that communication enhances decision-making especially with respect to the formation of multiagency team. It is worth noting that, the communication multiagency team function independent unit that strives to get information secretly. There is again communication that satisfies the need of contributing firms to make them informed at the required level. To add on these, there is communication that drives timely decisions in making teams have clear uncluttered rules for collaborating. These also include making considerable efforts communicate with the concerned authority in time. Again, there must be established operational relationships, the existence of well-established relationships between managerial teams is vital. It enhances communication in the sense that, communication drive timely decision informing multiagency teams. It is also advantageous to have established liaison between agencies, and so the officials give a clear need for liaison between the police .At that moment management enhances the running of multiagency teams effectively. There were beliefs that there would be a lack of liaison between management of police agencies. Therefore, the administration saw the need of operational relationship and they did go to it as enumerated by McCarthy (2009 p.103). Other policies include effective leadership; they have an obligation of finding a reliable and correct fit for a team leader. Inclusive communication is necessary in the ensuring effective communication of a multiagency team. There are mixing partnership assignments such as grouping investigators together to work as a team. Clear memorandum of understanding, make the sharing of credit equally, hence establishing clear reporting in the protocols. How the nurse should work alongside multiagency team Bielby (2008 p.83) argues that, nursing is the most prestigious department in this field since all the consultations involves the nursing technocrats. The nurse can work with multiagency by examining the mentally challenged person whilst administering the correct medications. They are also liable to give guidance on how to handle this sick in a friendly manner. The nurses also are core factor when it comes in the matter of bullying. If the mentally challenged person undergoes abuse, for instance sexually, the nurse is obliged to provide statement regarding the same as explained by Dimond (2011 p.53). The nurse also are suppose to take part mandatory in the policy and law making by multiagency in order to suit their running system in ensuring smooth running of the organization. Conclusion Generally, it is difficult but also mandatory to give a hand to those who undergo physical challenge in any way as described by Cambridge & Canarby (2000 p.291). This is because they depend on the care, and the guidance of other members of the society for survival. Therefore, it is the concern of those with a sound mind to show the ultimate guidance to disadvantaged in the society. According to Riding & Swann (2005 p.82), mental disorder if not properly handled, can lead to death or destruction of the person concerned since he/she is capable of doing anything harmful to him or the sociality as a whole. Generally, if this disorder is can handle, the life of many may be meaningful. Being vulnerable does not imply bowing out, and so one should consider taking a considerable care of our colleagues who are vulnerable.
